Nearpod

PBS LearningMedia content can be easily shared on Nearpod by copying and pasting PBS LearningMedia resource links. Your students can access the content right from their Nearpod account. This section shows you how.

• From the PBS LearningMedia website, click the resource that you want to share with your class on the Nearpod platform and on the left side of the resource, click Build a lesson (Figure 1).

• The resource displays as a lesson with all elements automatically populated. In the Lesson Title textbox, type a title for this lesson and in the Instructions slide textbox, provide some guidance for your students on what you expect them to do with the lesson you are assigning to them.
• Click the Choose dropdown menu to add additional slides to your lesson, if desired. 
• At the bottom of the page, click the checkbox acknowledging the privacy policy (Figure 2.1).
• Click Save & Assign (Figure 2.2).

• When the popup box appears, click Get assignment code (Figure 3).

• Click Copy link to copy the URL (Figure 4).

• From your Nearpod dashboard, click Lesson in Nearpod (Figure 3).

• Click Add Slide (Figure 4).

• Click the Web Content icon (Figure 5).

• In the textbox provided, paste the URL you copied from the PBS LearningMedia site (Figure 6.1).
• Click Save (Figure 6.2).

Click Test this link to be sure the link works (Figure 6.3).

• Your Nearpod module containing the PBS LearningMedia content displays (Figure 5.1).
• Click Share to share the content with your students or Preview to view the content before sending to your students (Figure 5.2).

Remember to add a title for your content (Figure 5.3)!
